For today's Inspirational Sunday Post, I'm sharing an inspirational card I made for the recent marriage of my daughter-in-law's brother.  David and Katelyn are young, very much in love, finishing up their last year of college, and just got married.  They are a sweet Christian couple and followed the "old-fashioned", time-honored teaching of the Bible to wait until they were married to consummate the marriage.  That's a novel idea!  Actually, it's a very old idea that is a wonderful way to enter marriage: with no regrets and no shadows of former lovers.  In this age of typically having the honeymoon long before the actual marriage takes place, I think this stamp (in the Wordplay set) is a fabulous way to convey our congratulations to a couple for not only their marriage, but for their commitment to walk the "road less traveled"  before the marriage.

For David and Katelyn, they are now living the "So worth the wait" life.  They had a fabulous time during their eagerly anticipated honeymoon and are now settling into married life as a couple.  Although there will be many challenges as well as joys that await them in the years ahead, they will always look back recognizing that it was "so worth the wait."

Wordplay

For today's Saturday Sample, I have a really simple card to share featuring the new stamp set Wordplay.  I love the bold greetings in this set and like to make them the central image of the card.  This is actually a remake of a card I had previously made.  I wasn't totally happy with the previous result, so I did a makeover and am much happier with the new, improved version:)

Possibilities

For today's Inspirational Sunday Post, I'm sharing an inspirational card we made in my card clubs this week.  I love several things about this card.  I love the sunshiny Daffodil Delight color, so aptly named.  I love the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper, featured here front and center in all its lovely boldness.  And I love the greeting, "Imagine the Possibilities" from the new stamp set Wordplay.  It's a bold statement that is perfectly underscored with bold colors and bold designs in this card.

Jesus makes a very bold statement in the book of Luke in the New Testament.  I'll give it here in several versions (translations):

But he said, Things which are not possible with man are possible with God.
(Luke 18:27 BBE)
And He said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
(Luke 18:27 MKJV)
Jesus answered, "What is humanly impossible is possible for God."
(Luke 18:27 GNB)
Jesus replied, "There are some things that people cannot do, but God can do anything."

Anyway you look at this verse, in whichever translation, the meaning is unmistakable.  With God, all things are possible!  So go ahead.  Meditate on the words of Jesus today.  Think about them.  Ponder them.  And do what the above card boldly encourages, "Imagine the possibilities!"
